1. What is franchising?
Franchising is a continuing relationship in which the franchisor provides a licensed privilege to do business under the Domino's brand along with assistance in organizing, training, merchandising and management in return for a royalty fee from the franchise.

2. What are the external franchise agreement terms and weekly royalties?
The term of the franchise agreement is ten (10) years from the date of opening the store. The initial franchise fee is $25,000.* Royalty fees are as follows:

3. Can I have a business partner even if I don't meet the financial requirements on my own?
A franchisee applicant may have a business partner, but must meet each financial requirement on their own (or at least have all of the required funds in their name). In addition to this, applicants must retain at least 51% ownership in their franchise at all times.

4. What are my financing options?
Domino's Pizza can introduce you to a number of lenders that have created finance programs for the restaurant industry. These lenders provide financing for new stores and acquisitions and handle large and small loans, Small Business Administration (SBA)-backed loans and first time franchisees. Some have specific resources assigned to help Domino's franchisees through the financing process. You also have the option of sourcing your financing from a local lender.

5. Are there incentives for veterans?
Domino's has created a program to attract qualified military veterans to become Domino's Pizza franchisees. This program will provide opportunities for a member of the military to transition to civilian life and leverage their work experience towards business ownership.

6. What opportunities are available for minorities?
The Domino's Pizza Delivering the Dream program is designed to help minority team members realize the dream of becoming a business owner. The company provides financial support and a financing partner to help build new stores. This opportunity is currently only available to internal candidates.

7. What are the Franchise Development Program (FDP) and Pizza Prep School?
FDP and Pizza Prep School are intensive and interactive training programs designed to get soon-to-be franchisees ready to run and operate their store.
The Franchise Development Program is a five-day course designed to equip franchisees with the information necessary to be successful within the Domino's Pizza System. During the five days, franchise candidates learn how to how to deal with employees, store development, and overall business planning.
The four-day Domino's Pizza Prep School captures the Domino's Pizza culture and "smart hustle" attitude while delivering the basics of store operations. Participants will attend classroom and in-store training each day.
Both FDP and Pizza Prep School are held at the World Resource Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. FDP is mandatory for internal and external franchisees. Pizza Prep School is mandatory for external franchisees only.
