 - We purchase our beef from the nation’s most well-known and highly-respected suppliers, who only provide us with 100% USDA-inspected beef. Beef used in the supply to Domino’s Pizza does not come from the state of Washington, nor from any of the states noted by the USDA.
- USDA inspectors, including USDA veterinarians who monitor the health of live animals brought to our suppliers’ facilities, are on hand every moment the slaughter facilities are in operation to ensure the health and safety of all consumers.
- Our suppliers have stringent guidelines for the handling of BSE risk materials, and we have been assured those materials are not incorporated into any of our suppliers’ products, and therefore, not in any of our products.
- Our pepperoni is currently made primarily of pork, and does include some beef. Our sausage is made with pork.
- It is important to note that the USDA, through Secretary Ann Veneman and others, has stated that the risk to human health from BSE is extremely low and that this particular case in Washington poses no threat to consumers.
- Please remember that pizza is a customizable product, and our customers can still enjoy our pizza even if they want to avoid beef toppings. There is no known BSE risk in dairy products, such as cheese, for example.
